5 day B&W photo challenge

I was challenged by Gerry (fellow photographer) to a 5 day Black & White photo challenge. Over the next 5 days I shot and posted my images to Flickr and Facebook and thought I would share them all together here for you to see. I also nominated one person each day to also participate.

This was a fun little challenge.Today I nominate all of you that are reading this blog post, have fun.

Day 2 of 5 – Troubled Waters. This shot does have a hue on it. I have created a preset and use it on some b&w images to give it a different feel.

Day 3 of 5 – The Boat. This was a 25 second long exposure shot using a Lee Big Stopper. It cuts the light by 10 stops allowing for slower shutter to capture the movement in the clouds.

Day 4 of 5 – Alone on a Bench

Day 5 of 5 – Sunset over Docks

  1. These are great! The “day 2” one is my favorite. Love the motion you captured in the image. Great BW conversions too.

  2. Wonderful work! I really like the 3rd one…what a neat result!

  3. Love it Brian. I love your work. Especially with this b/w challenge. You sure put a different spin on these photos.
